Hot off the presses: UCSB jumps from 34th to 17th in Kiplinger's 2012 list of the top 100 best values in public colleges and universities based on outstanding education and economic value. As a matter of fact, we are just one of six University of California campuses to make the top 25! If you ask me, that takes a little bit of the sting out of the recent fee increases.
